About the Clinic

The Wu Hsing Tao School Clinic is an affordable Traditional Five Element Acupuncture clinic made available to the community. Acupuncture treatments are provided by an Intern in their 3rd year of training and re supervised by the Clinical Dean or Resident Supervisors. All Supervisors are experienced, licensed Five Element Acupuncturists.

Acupuncture is an effective form of curative or preventative medicine without side effects. Only sterile one-time use disposable needles are used.

Treatments

Your Initial Visit

Your first initial visit consists of a "Traditional Diagnosis" in which the practitioner will take your full medical and personal history in order to understand you and your needs, and to diagnose the underlying cause. First time treatments are approximately 2 1/2 hours.

Return Visits

Each consecutive return visit allows the practitioner to re-evaluate your progress and continue the appropriateness of the direction of your treatment process. A brief re-examination is followed by a new treatment, the next step on your way towards wellness. A return visit is approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Seasonal Treatments

Once your energy is balanced and holding, a seasonal check up (or tune up) is recommended for it is at the change of the season that our energy has the most difficult time and needs balance.

Intern Appointments are currently available on:

Mondays (9:30am-6:00pm)

Thursdays (2:30pm-6:00pm)

Fridays (9:30am-6:00pm)

Same day appointments can be accommodated, schedule permitting.

Rates

First time visit- $75

Return visit- $55

Insurance

We will provide you with a receipt for reimbursement for your insurance provider.

Payment

We accept cash, check, or credit card.

Cancellations

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you must reschedule an appointment, we require that you give 24 hour notice so that another patient may take advantage of your slot. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged at the full fee.
