HayPostThe element shows itself especially in late summer, at harvest time. It manifests as nature’s time of plenty, providing an abundance of nourishment on every level. It feeds the mother and the child inside of us through our stomach and spleen, providing us with our daily bread, as well as bringing in our life’s harvest. If we are unable to take it in, we feel starved, needy and abandoned. However, though proper treatment, we can become reconnected with our inner mother.
