PTSD CLINIC

At Wu Hsing Tao School, we practice a system of medicine that focuses on treating the cause and not the symptom, and can be used as both a curative or preventative medicine. By following the laws of nature we can give the body/mind/spirit support to heal. We believe every individual is different and each treatment is personalized to suit the individual needs. Treating in this way, we can restore the function of the body/mind/spirit, making each component equally strong while reestablishing the balance of vital energy.

Acupuncture treatments are provided by a Licensed Practitioners from the Five Element tradition. We are committed to providing you with quality health care and look forward to assisting you to make your clinical experience a wonderful one.

About Your Visits

Initial Visit
Your first initial visit consists of a "Traditional Diagnosis" in which the practitioner will take your full medical and personal history in order to understand you and your needs, and to diagnose the underlying cause. First time treatments are approximately 2 hours.
Return Visits
Each consecutive return visit allows the practitioner to re-evaluate your progress and continue the appropriateness of the direction of your treatment process. A brief re-examination is followed by a new treatment, the next step on your way towards wellness. A return visit is approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Transition to Student Clinic
After patient has shown significant improvement, and the initial PTSD trial study is completed, patients will have the option of being transitioned to the Student Clinic to continue their health care and track their progress.
Seasonal Treatments
Once your energy is balanced and holding, a seasonal check up (or tune up) is recommended for it is at the change of the season that our energy has the most difficult time and needs balance.
